Wonderful Singer Songwriter, guitar player and dear friend with a heart that can fit half of L.A. and more. He's one of the driving forces to make the term community mean something. |
Elke is my musical sister, a wonderful singer and as a performer she can wear a lot of hats that fit her. We spent years touring through Germany, mostly in an old VW bus with a broken heater all wrapped up in our coats. |
Dear friend of mine! Jorge has performed with many artists of diverse backgrounds from around the world, including Clark Terry, Charlie Byrd and the Great Guitars, Randy Brecker, Rich Matheson, The Platters, The Drifters, the Coasters, and many others. He has also performed at Inaugural Balls for Presidents Carter, Regan and Bush. |
Now, another Brother he is! His support and creativity made me go the extra mile(s). Stefan owns a music studio in a small village in Hessen, close to Frankfurt. We produced "Hazzazar" and "Sau Gut" there and his place is full of energy and spirit or is it him? |
Mortician turned Musician Singer Songwriter Jack Harlan plays a blended mix of original Americana, Folk and Alt Country. He offers a lyrical firestorm that unleashes raw introspection. |
Tom Schlüter/Valery Brusilowsky Producer team in Frankfurt and great old friends Their great personalities and gigantic musician ship was a beacon in the dark and i learned a great deal. Thanks so much! |
My companion for almost three years. We drove down to San Diego and back to Seattle in his old Honda Prelude many times. A fantastic performer and outstanding Fiddler. Jamie's wide range of expression and sincerity gains him fans all over the US. |
He a great musician and friend for decades. We played ten years together in Moka Efti and I produced Michel's first solo album with his Band "Blueshimmel". He's working on and just released his third album. |
Great singer/songwriter. She's an inspiration to the community and seeing her live is a treat. Solo as well as with a full band her performance is convincing and a growing fan base proofs it. |
Jan and played for months at a time at the Frankfurt Tigerpalast two shows a night. Wonderful Sax player and great composer and producer. His album with italian Singer Pino Gulino is outstanding. |
I met Evo and his brother Jemmy at the "Sommer Musik Fest" We were the Bad Boys Zydeco and jammed through the night for a big dancing crowd. I stayed with Evo and his wife Juliana for a total of nine months. On the porch with the view of the valley I dreamed about living in the US. |
Hans Heiner is a fantastic trombone player and an old friend. We go way back and he played all the parts on my "Hazzazar" album. I love his bass trombone, it's just out of this world. |
While on tour with the "Fensters" Andy and the band stayed with me in Frankfurt. We connected instantly and became friends. He's a great composer and sax player and his beautiful recordings feature Jazz artists like Ralph Towner, Dave Holland and Kenny Wheeler. |
Edo is one of my vocal heroes. I was lucky to be invited to play bass on his Jubilee album "10". He's a true character and great producer. His song "Die Tänzerin" is still one of my favorite Ulla Meinecke pieces. |
Fantastic Jazz musician (Trumpet, Saxophone). He was one of the first musicians in Seattle that I played with and it was a great experience. Check out his site and see who he played with, it's the who is who in Jazz. |
My mentor, teacher and friend. He gave me a Joni Mitchell CD "Court & Spark" for my 17th birthday. That changed my world forever. What a brilliant mind and universal soul. I could talk with him for days straight without realizing that time is passing by. |
My friend and fellow DADGAD player living on Vashon Island (California of the Northwest). He's very active in the scene and a real asset to the community. Check out his Weblog. |
Heinrich and I traveled through Europe with Rüdiger Oppermann, harp and Jatinder Thakur, tabla. A bright mind and good spirit with a laughter that can bring down the house. He is currently touring with the Vienna Art Orchestra. |
David is a great guy and recording with him is a joy and so easy that I sometimes thought I'm at home. Most of my new album "Inside Out" was recorded at David's. He's got the best acoustic sound ever. |
My favorite harp player. Her album Bazaar was a kick and did not leave my CD player for some time. Like Evo Bluestein, I met Asita at Rüdiger's music camp (Sommer Musik Fest) and we instantly played music together. |
Robb Eagle is a wonderful guy with a lot of knowledge and the right attitude. I love shopping there whenever I can. He got me my Calton Case and put a K+K pickup in my Santa Cruz which still blows my mind. |
Besides being on of the best Dobro and Slide players in the US, Orville is my best man and one of my early friends in Seattle. His expertise and well rounded personality made me choose him to produce a couple of cuts on my new album "Inside Out" |

Here is some cool gear |
Fantastic pickups that I use for my acoustic guitars. Sounds great even without a preamp. |
Richard Hoover and his team of luthiers are among the best in the World when it comes to built acoustic guitars. I'm in heaven playing one of their OM/PW models. I choose that one after playing about 150 top notch models from 40s Martins to designer instruments |
