"Hazzazar" was my first solo album, inspired by a six months stay in Rio de Janeiro. I recorded it during a year in a little village close to Frankfurt. I knew the studio through a Moka Efti CD (Pangaea) which we recorded there and one evening I was playing some songs for my friend/brother/studio owner Stefan Scheid and he asked me if I wanted to record a solo CD.

What started out as Singer/Songwriter approach just with guitar and vocals became a full production with some of the best German musicians ranging from bass-trombone to chromatic harp. I'm still proud of it and it has almost sold out.
